When I woke up this morning it felt a little Christmas morning-esque because I remembered first thing that Coldplay's new album came out. I have been listening to it all day and I can say it is Sensibly Sassy approved as being certifiably awesome. (Okay the picture didn't really come out that well, but it's supposed to show me listening to Viva La Vida and simultaneously giving it a thumbs up)
Erin and I have been talking about the cd's release for um like...a long time and we were both a little nervous that it wouldn't live up to the hype we gave it. Luckily Erin agrees-it kicks major tail! Oh and um... I think I have a huge crush on Chris Martin....
Can we agree? He's hot, no?
I was surfing the web this afternoon and googled "Sassy" and wanted to see if my blog name popped up. I wish I could tell you where the blog showed up but I got side tracked by a website for a restaurant called Sassy Marie's You see this is interesting because my middle name is Marie. I was all ready to head over to Sassy Marie's but it's in Philadelphia. Any readers from Philadelphia? Let me know how it is!
Oh I almost forgot to tell you!
James may not have been able to walk across the stage-and coincidentally Ricky got sick and couldn't either but we definitely partied down at my parents house to celebrate on Saturday anyway. Even though they didn't walk they still graduated!
I couldn't let those cap and gowns go to waste so with a little begging I had the boys put them on and do an impromptu photo shoot before all of their friends got there and teased them mercilessly. And while it didn't take away the sting of the unfair ruling of the school, it did seem to brighten the mood. Aren't they handsome?
Oh and whilst at my brother's graduation party I snapped this picture for my exposarooniechallenge! (Head over there on Friday and vote for your favorite!)
Oh and while I am in the business of being random I will tell you about my new favorite pair of shoes:
Jon bought me them as a cheer up gift on Thursday when my brothers were supposed to be walking across the stage in their graduation. (Don't worry I know, I'm a lucky girl). I hated the whole Gladiator look for the longest time but when I tried them on I felt oddly powerful. A shoe that does that is a keeper I must say. To be honest the shoes have turned me into a comic book villain.
...now where's my sword?

ah, just trying to get back in the groove of things after vacation. my bro had the coldplay single while we were at the beach and it ROCKS!!!! i will now go purchase the CD with the sensibly sassy stamp of approval! :)
Where did you get your Gladiator sandals? SO cute! And so sweet of Jon to cheer you up! Love the challenge shot! Congrats to James and Ricky!!! I'm so glad you do the photoshoot -- my fav pics are you and your bros and the grad doggie! Hee. Ooh- Sassy Marie's -- you'll have to take a road trip one day and check it out!
Couple things. We may have to share Mr. Martin as I too have a huge thing for him. You can take him Monday through Wednesday, I get Thursday through Sunday? Ol' Gwyneth will have to suck it.
Second, I have the exact same gladiators in gold. I felt the same way about them at first but now I love them!
