Frankie is a little, how do I say this...spoiled. I can't help myself, I love buying him little treats any time I see a toy I think he would like. This weekend while we were in Petsmart buying Frankie some more dog food Jon pointed out a chew toy that looked like a rack of ribs. The toy boasted that they tasted like barbecue sauce. I thought my chubby little pup would enjoy his very own rack of ribs so I snatched them up.On the way home Jon and I were talking about how we would never know if the toy actually tasted like ribs. I (jokingly) turned to Jon and said " I dare you to taste it"
And without skipping a beat Jon said "ok" and he stuck out his hand for the ribs. And then after a small pause he said, "...and no, you cannot blog about this" (I obviously was able to change his mind).
At the next stop light Jon chomped on the "ribs" and concluded that they tasted nothing like ribs.
Good to know.

Hahaha this is a cute story. :)
Sprog frequently says that I can't blog about things, but of course I always do.
I totally would've tasted the ribs!
haha Good to know. I always wondered when it says BBQ or peanut butter flavored if it actually tastes like it. Glad jon is around to let us know!! ;)
I love that Jon tried it, that is hilarious. I could see a conversation like that happening between Andrew and I. Too funny.

Hahah I would probably try to get Dave to do the same thing.
Kyle has tried Rocco's "turkey jerkey." It was a while ago... so I don't remember the outcome. But the package said "human quality" so I assume it was decent. :-)
LOL, that's awesome. Maybe you should write them and let them no they do not, in fact, taste like ribs!
Kibbles n' bits n' bits n' bits.
Ha. That's a funny story.

Those dog-toy-marketers know just how to get us, don't they. Sneaky bums!
that is hilarious!!! I am a little bummed that it doesn't taste like ribs but now I know why my pups prefer human food.
