I'm not really a country music fan per se but when I heard Taylor Swift I was hooked, country or not. I love how she plays the guitar and writes her own music. She calls out her exes in her songs. I think it is funny that she doesn't hold back but even better that her music isn't angsty, its just honest...and good. Also, she has a great sense of humor.
I appreciate that she is true to what makes her happy (baking cookies, dressing silly, cuddling in bed with her mom) and not the social norms of the stars her age (drinking, partying, making themselves look bad). However, I will say this, the rumors of her flirting with John Mayer do make me nervous.
But what I love most about her music is that it has an infectious quality that makes me want to jump on my bed, sing into my hair brush and dance around the apartment. Not that I would do that, I mean, I'm 25 , 25 year olds don't do that....ok this one does.

I like country music but no, I do not like Taylor Swift. Not even a little bit. I think I'm too old and cranky to appreciate the knight in shining armor songs that she sings over and over and over again.
I love country music, and I have to admit I wasn't a fan of hers at first. But then I saw this performance and her expression at the end and how could you not fall in love with how cute she is?!?!

oh i heart her. she is just so darn adorable. i loved that video of her watching the cma announcements and how even though her agents and everyone found out beforehand she waited and wanted to see it live.
and um she's just so fun and quirky and cute, so yeah i'm a fan.
I've been a fan of her since her first single "Tim McGraw." She just comes across as so real and down to earth.
I LOVE Taylor Swift. LOL!!! I get addicted to it. I listen to it in the shower, in my car, and whenever I do I can't help but scream like a little teeny bopper or dance around in my underwear and jump on my bed like you said with the hairbrush microphone. LOL!
Flirting with John Mayer?! I hadn't heard this... but let's be honest, if I was around John Mayer I would probably flirt too (don't tell my fiance! he hates john mayer!!!)
I can't name a single song of hers, which is why I agree with what Kanye said that day. I definitely don't agree with what he did, obviously.
But, to answer your question, yes, I do like her. She seems genuinely sweet. And she's a stunning beauty. For me to say that about a blonde is a rarity.
I LOVE Taylor Swift. I'm not even embarassed to admit that! I honestly think she has a good head on her shoulders and stays grounded with her family and close friends. Plus she writes her own songs!

If I had a daughter I would want her to be as sweet and genuine as her...and I would definitely want her to look up to T Swift rather than ANY other female celeb out there. She is precious!!
I subscribe to her Youtube channel and when I saw that video of her finding out the nominations I got teary eyed, she's so flippin CUTE!
