Last night Jon, Frank and I went over to Jon's parent's house to watch the Emmy's. Frank and Jon weren't totally into the show but I was all over it. I love award shows, the fashion, the skits, the winners, ahhh it is all so great!
Overall I wasn't totally wowed by the fashion. The Mad Men, the Mad Ladies if you will, looked very nice though. I liked January Jones' dress but it kinda sat funny. And I'll admit it, I was really excited to see little Sally Draper on stage with the rest of the cast, she is such a little scene stealer.
In my eyes, the real standout of the night was Clare Danes. Such a simple dress but so beautiful. Your so called dress hit the mark with me.
You just know I have to say something about the opening sketch. Oh my Mr.Jon Hamm, you are such a, well, a ham! In my opinion this totally raised Jon Hamm's stock in my mind but Jon's sister was a little creeped out to see Don Draper dancing and singing. What did you think?

I always love awards shows! Thought Claire Danes's dress/look was spot-on!

Seeing Don Draper sing and dance kind of weirded me out! I did enjoy seeing him in the skit though!
