What I Wore: Thanksgiving Edition

Sweater: Forever 21
Necklace: Just Expressive on Etsy
Hair: I now have bangs thanks to Serina!!
Let's take a closer look at my bangs and my adorable mom.
We always fry our turkey and usually it goes off without a hitch. Welllll we (and by we I mean my brother Richard and my dad) tried a new brine consisting of honey and brown sugar. Well, you know how when you cook brown sugar it has the tendency to darken? That is what happened to our turkey. Totally blackened. We had initially thought the turkey was burnt beyond recognition. Here my brother, Richard, hangs his head in shame while my dad hams it up with the turkey. (Get it? Ham's it up? Turkey? heh)
But we sliced into it and the meat was good, juicy even! It was a Thanksgiving miracle!
How was your Thanksgiving? Don't live in the U.S.? How was your Thursday?

That necklace looks fabulous on you! ;-)

The thing with the turkey is cracking me up! I'm glad that the meat was still tasty despite it's cajun exterior.

Love the bangs!

Love your new do! You are rocking those bangs! Dude, no wonder that guy with the grill asked you out! haha. Cute outfit! Dark jeans tucked into boots are the best! And you and your mama are so adorable!
