Our Sunday was covered in rain so that's just what we did-made pancakes.
Jon got some reading in while I made the pancakes. (He's on the last book of the Harry Potter series). He is also sitting in our new POANG chair form IKEA. I feel as though anything IKEA related needs to be CAPITALIZED. I DON'T KNOW WHY. IT JUST FEELS RIGHT.
Frank joined me in the kitchen to make sure I was safe (more likely to see if he could score some scraps.)
I sipped on my Chai latte. (Isn't my coffee sleeve cute? I got it at Joyful Star on Etsy)
Set the table
And paid my chef's assistant in doggy bagels.
It is very few and far between that things feel simple and perfect.
But sometimes they are and I think I need to acknowledge that more.

Drama with a shop piece. Rain=migraine.
Dinner was yogurt with flax and fruit since I wasn't going to cook and a lot of laying around. We also have a POANG :)
My Sunday consisted of waking@6am to work for 7am,dodging my shift partners germs(She ended up catching a stomach bug)&teaching my kid(well he's my resident@work)about healthy choices for lunch. Then out for a run&visit to my BFF&her babes. Finally spent Sunday evening watching sports on my new flatscreen with my roomie&making/eating some delish sports pub like foods. In bed early to wake Monday@6am to work@7am. Whew! Happy Monday:)
I had the best Sunday as well - had a similar feeling of life being just perfect (even though I'm tres stressed out at work right now). Blasted music and did a ton of laundry while husband was organizing the garage and setting up some new tools; grilled hamburgers outside on the deck because it was almost 80 degrees and ate "dinner" at around 3:00 p.m.; tidied up the house and did some work for a hearing today - and got to bed early! A great day all in all.
Mmm coffee! It was rainy here too. Speaking of IKEA, we went to IKEA yesterday :) We also stopped a Bevmo. It was a pretty awesome day indeed!
