As I mentioned here, I signed up for a 5k that I would do on Thanksgiving day. I was excited to see how my back would fare but I was also very nervous for the same reason. Well I am so very glad to report that I finished my first 5k yesterday-and I ran the whole way!
After dealing with a chronic back injury I had sworn off the idea of being so active again. So as I trotted along the course on Thursday I was overwhelmed by the fact that I was running after not being able to for so long. Life can surprise you sometimes. I had a great time running and truly could not have done it without Jon's support and encouragement.

Who knows, this could be the beginning of a lovely relationship between me and running....we shall see!
