A characteristic that I pride myself on is not getting nervous. I don't know what it is but the feeling of nervousness just doesn't occur to me when I am faced with a novel situation.
Do a speech in front of the whole school? Done, no sweat.
Dance in front of a theatre full of people? That's my idea of fun.
So as the wedding approaches (4 days) I am faced with a strange feeling...I'm nervous.
There has only been one other time in which I was nervous and that was when I graduated from college.
I tried to think of what the two have in common and what I came up with was that I'm not really doing anything. Now I know what you are thinking, "uh your getting married, that's something". I realize that the a wedding is a huge deal, but I am used to people watching me actively do something, like dance or speak. So the idea of people watching me walk down the aisle is kinda scary.
Were you nervous when you got married or were you cool as a cucumber?
Any wedding day advice I should know about?
