Sometimes when I go to the mailbox and there isn't any mail I mutter "Well, no news is good news" to console myself for the lack of goodies in my mailbox. But as I thought about it I wasn't really sure if I knew what this meant....
Does it mean:
A) The absence of news is a good thing
OR
B) There isn't any news that exists that is good.
What do you think? I had been thinking of it in the first way. But the more I think of it the less I am sure.
