Heavy Hearts

Today was such a hard day.
I'm sure by now we have heard about the horrific tragedy in Connecticut. I heard about it while I sat in my office at the elementary school I work at. I thought about it as I looked at the sweet faces I encountered throughout my day. And after all this, my heart is just so pained tonight. I know goodness exists in the world. I know that humans are better than this. I know all this and yet I am having trouble sitting in the space where I can truly believe it. Tonight I am sending love out to everyone.
