I'm a firm believer that we all things that we are naturally drawn to and can always justify buying/collecting more of. My mother in law is finds herself drawn to chairs of all shapes and sizes (seriously, you will never lack for a place to sit when you hang out at her house), Jon loves outdoor wear (specifically jackets), and Nani buys yarn like its going out of style.
It got me thinking, what are my "things" that I can always justify buying just one more of. Here's a quick list:
1.Shoes: I love fashion of all sorts, but man, I have a soft spot for shoes. If I go shopping I can always find a pair of shoes worth my money, always. Flats, heels, wedges, rain boots....ahhhh!
2. Skincare Products: Well this is a byproduct of my acne days I'm sure. But now that my acne is long gone I am obsessed with toners, face masks, sunscreen, moisturizers, under eye creams-you get the idea. It may seem a little overkill but hey, your skin is the biggest organ on your body-might as well treat it right.
3. Magazines and Books: I love to read, I'm sure you've noticed. If ever I have a spare second anywhere I will read. I usually have a means to do so no matter where I am. I carry my iPad, book or magazine with me at all times-you never know when life will present you with a moment to read. And if I am not near something to read-I will find one-the back of cereal box, a pamphlet in a waiting room...seriously anything.
4. Nail Polish: Its hardly ever more expensive than $10 so it is an easy justification for me. Plus, I do my nails ever week so I definitely get some good use out of my purchases.
Those are just a few that I can think of off the top of my head...what are your things?
